She has also published three scholarly books, a co-authored textbook, and numerous journal articles, and has written academic writing advice for the Chronicle of Higher Education and Vitae. She founded and directs the Henneke Faculty Writing Program at the University of Tulsa, where she is the Hazel Rogers Professor of Media Studies.
