How do I join?

You can join by completing an online new member form.

What are the categories of membership?

Graduate Student | $25
Emeritus Member | $35
(Authors who are retired from teaching and are no longer writing or revising.)
Untenured Faculty or Textbook Author with Royalties Under $5,000/yr | $50
Tenured Faculty or Textbook Author with Royalties Above $5,000/y

ting Member | $200 ($100 is attributed to annual membership)

How long does it take for membership to become active?

If you join online, membership becomes active as soon as you receive your confirmation email. If you join by mail, your membership will be active within 1 week of receipt of your membership application. You will receive a New Member Toolkit by mail within two weeks after joining.

How long is my membership term?

Membership dues are paid on an annual basis. Your renewal date is one year from your join date.

Do you share my information with other groups?

TAA does not rent or sell its membership database. Please see our terms of use and privacy policy for details.
