TAA announces 2012 Texty, McGuffey Award winners

The Text and Academic Authors Association announced it has awarded 14 textbooks 2012 Textbook Excellence Awards (Texty) and four textbooks 2012 William Holmes McGuffey Longevity Awards (McGuffey).

The Texty is awarded to recognize excellence in current textbooks and learning materials, while the McGuffey is awarded to recognize textbooks and learning materials whose excellence has been demonstrated over time.

The awards will be presented during an awards luncheon at the Text and Academic Authors Association 25th Annual Conference in New Orleans, LA on June 8-9, 2012. The Awards luncheon will be held on Saturday, June 9.
