Pedagogical aids
in a textbook can be used to stimulate interest in the subject, provide
motivation to study and learn content, and promote successful learning
strategies for students with different learning styles. Instructors
can also utilize pedagogical aids to augment teaching styles. This presentation
will present a variety of pedagogical aids that can be adapted to most
textbook styles. The authors in the audience will contribute ideas of
additional examples.
About the presenter

36 years. She has been writing introductory chemistry textbooks for
more than 30 years. Her textbooks vary from 2nd editions to 9th editions
