E-Textbooks: What Do They Portend for Authors? Moderators: Moderators will lead a discussion of the current state of e-textbook royalties as practiced by the major textbook publishers. Discussion will address question such as what are the prevailing royalty rates? How prevalent are e-textbooks now? What are the projections for the future, both near and farther down the road? How will e-textbook royalties affect author profits? What should authors do to protect their bottom line?
