| Transportation from hotel to downtown attractions:
River taxis:
The Rio River Taxi Service services more than 39 stops along the San Antonio River Walk. It operates daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Riders can purchase tickets from a Rio River Taxi driver. A one-way ticket costs $4. A 24-hour day pass is $10 and a three-day pass is $25. Click here for web site

Trolleys:
Ride either the Lone Star Trolley or the Texas Trolley from the hotel to downtown attractions. Trolleys arrive at each stop every 10 minutes. A One Day Pass is $3.75 and is good for unlimited rides on all regular buses and trolleys for the one day indicated on the pass. The Day Pass is activated the first time it is used. You can buy passes, tickets and special event tokens at the VIA Online Store,VIA Information and Transit Centers, or from most retail outlets. The Riverwalk
The Riverwalk offers hotels, dining and restaurants, theme parks, attractions, nightclubs, nightlife and entertainment.

Rivercenter Mall is located on The Riverwalk. Rivercenter Mall has 60 plus shops and restaurants including Foley's, Dillards, Sun Glass Hut, Victoria Secrets, Bath and Body Works, Gap, Tony Romas, IMAX Theater, Rivercenter Comedy Club, and Hooter's.
HemisFair Plaza
HemisFair Plaza was the site of the 1968 World's Fair. The Plaza contains a convention center and the Tower of the Americas, a spire 622 feet high that offers panoramic views of the city. Visit the revolving observation deck and restaurant at the Tower of the Americas. Riding the elevator to the observation deck includes the 4-D theater ride.

The Alamo, located in downtown San Antonio, was originally named Misión San Antonio de Valero. It served as home to missionaries and their Indian converts for nearly seventy years. The Alamo is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.. to 5:30 p.m..; Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Located in New Braunfels, Texas, Schlitterbahn Waterpark is a family-owned and family-friendly waterpark. This 65-acre Waterpark has over three miles of tubing adventures, seven children’s water playgrounds, 17 waterslides, the world’s first surfing machine, and three uphill water coasters. It offers free parking, free tubes and free lifejackets. You can even bring your own picnic (no glass or alcohol).
One day tickets for ages 12 and up are $37.99. One day tickets for ages 3-11 are $29.99. Two-Day tickets for ages 12 & up are $57.98. Two-day tickets for ages 3-11 are $45.98. Afternoon tickets (which can purchased at the Waterpark after 3 p.m.) are $26.60 for ages 12 and up and $20.99 for ages 3-11.
SplashTown San Antonio
Located just three minutes north of downtown San Antonio, this family waterpark has more than 50 rides and attractions, a covered public picnic area, restaurant and concessions, and dive-in movies. Free life jackets and free parking. General Admission is $24.99. Tickets for children under 48" are $18.99. After 5 p.m., tickets are $15.99. A non-participant ticket is $9.99 (plus a $15.00 refundable deposit).
San Antonio Zoo
The San Antonio Zoo is open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 pm. Adult admission is $9. Admission for kids 3-11 is $7. Free Parking.
Brackenridge Park

Located adjacent to the San Antonio Zoo, Brackenridge Park offers rides on an historic carousel, an aerial tram, a model train, and horses. The Park is also home to the Japanese Tea Gardens, a lush year-round garden and floral display featuring shaded walkways, stone bridges, 60-foot waterfall and attractive ponds. The Gardens are open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. until dusk. Free admission.

San Antonio Botanical Garden
The San Antonio Botanical Garden, operated by the City of Antonio Parks and Recreation Department, was founded in 1980, and encompasses 33 acres in the center of the city of San Antonio. It is open year-round from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adult Admission is $7. Admission for children ages 3-13 is $4.
